Leidos is seeking a detail-oriented **J** **uni** **or IT Technical Writer** to support documentation and content development across multiple IT systems and services on CASTLE-NET. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of IT concepts and excellent writing skills to translate technical material into clear, user-friendly documentation. **Primary Responsibilities** : + Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting technical documents, SOPs, user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base content + Work with engineers, developers, and PMs to understand and document system specifications and workflows + Maintain version control and ensure consistency across documentation sets + Conduct basic reviews of content for clarity, grammar, and alignment with style guides + Help support internal communications, training documentation, and process documentation **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelors degree and (4)+ years of experience in technical writing or related field; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into readable content + Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic publishing tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, WordPress) **Clearance Requirement:** + Active DoD Secret clearance OR must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start with Leidos (U.S. Citizenship Required) **Preferred qualifications:** -    Prior experience with DoD communication entities -    Prior experience with working with multiple entities simultaneously -    Prior experience with XML/HTML -    Prior experience with developing technical data for DoD programs **Original Posting:** June 9, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
